on the body is a 1.5 in x 1.5 in 1/4 thick piece of rubber that the check arm goes thru. I'm having difficulty finding a vendor for that piece. Above and below the slot are holes where the piece may have been riveted to body. I checked with Steele, Carpenter, Drake, Mac and C&G and none carry that part. Any suggestions?

That particular rubber item is not reproduced. You will have to invent something yourself to take it's place. It's basically in the door as an anti-rattle device for the door check arm/

TRJ, Thanks for the info. I think I may have a solution. By cutting one of the round bumper stops in half and gluing it in place it may just solve my problem. Again, thanks for getting back to me. John
