Just wondering where I could look up the paint code for the dash paint for my 39....... or if anyone knows it? Thanks much, Shoebox

I would contact the Club's 39-40 Mercury adviser. He may know the modern equivalent formula. You could also try Jimmy Chips at TCP Global, as they may have mixed it for another restorer. http://autocolorlibrary.com/

Maybe this will help: Gary Slurkanic matched the dash paint on my '39 in an area where it had not faded. IMHO the result is perfect. (I don't have an image of the new interior! -I can get one if it would help.) The formula used is: AZKO paint for the Dash 0.2 L. 92M 77 g 22 9.6 g 37 14.6 g 90M 16.6 g 35 17.5 g 93P 20.1 g 23 5.0 g

here is an image of the can of paint in case the formula is insufficient - the paint color as seen on the can is not representative as it appears on the dash
