....and the last picture that I have. A good future update for this forum would be the ability to post more than one picture at a time

These may be the seals you are looking for. There was a post on fordbarn that gave details and pn's on this and similar type seals

I found these numbers listed and can not confirm if they are correct for the aftermarket seal: Aftermarket repair seals outside axle housing: National 6510S, Fel-Pro 14697, Trostel 36320, Chrysler T905

In fact you can order custom seals if you know the correct measurements. From these guys http://karas-seal.com, for example

The outer axle seal that Parrish posted a picture of on 5/26, is the aftermarket seal that I have mentioned several times in various posting to the EFV8 Forum. This type of seal was made by many manufactures, one of which was National. The seals purpose was to eliminate the need to completely tare down a rear end to replace the inner axle seals. The seal was especially useful on the Columbia side of a Ford rear end. The design of the seal allowed some gear oil to pass by and into the wheel bearings. I have this type of replacement seals in the rear end of my '36 Ford w/Columbia.. I saved the boxes they came in for many years, eventually the boxes went away.

Gene N, you may be kidding yourself in not taking that rear apart and replacing all three of those B-4245 oil seals. If someone used those aftermarket oil seals at the ends of the axel housing bearing journals it was most likely because the B-4245 seals were bad/leaking. It might be like the old saying "pay me now or pay me later, but eventually you must pay me" JMHO JM

There are three B-4245 lip type oil seals in a closed drive EFV8 banjo rear. One in the bell end of the torque tube to keep oil from draining back into the driveshaft area from the universal joint housing. The other two are inside the ends of the axel housings near the wheel bearing journals to seal around the axels keeping oil from entering the wheel bearing and brake shoe/drum areas. The aftermarket seal that was mentioned was a quick fix to stop oil leakage if a B-4245 axel housing seal went bad and you did not want to take the rear completely apart to replace the seal.
