Is there a judging standards reference which shows the as-built configurations of early V8 cars, similar to the ones for Model As? Thanks, John

What you are looking for is probably in the "Online Store", https://www.earlyfordv8.org/Shop.cfm?id=2 It would help if you included the year of your car in case there are any other good sources. Charlie Stephens

Judging forms are also available on this site. From menu on left column, National Club Information, click on Forms. Depending on what your year is, you can print out the instructions, and samples of the actual judging forms used on the Early Ford V-8 Club concourse.

Its taken me a while to figure out the new site. As a long time Model A restorer I am familiar with the Model A Judging standards. A book like that does not exist for the early V8s. The closest approximation are the books that have been prepared for the individual years. 41 to 48 for example. To go with it you would need the judging sheets that are available on line from the Early Ford main menu. Hope this helps.
