I am looking for a good Spark Plug Cable Set for my 1940 V-8. Must be authentic. If you have had success in finding this item please let me know. Much thanks to all who help.

One source for the 1940 spark plug cable set is MAC's Auto Parts. Their wires are authentic and color-coded to match the originals. I have used them in the past with excellent results.

The best I have found come from Roy Nacewicz. Very high quality. In fact, the ONLY supplier to me for this item. Mike Kubarth

RJ&L Automotive Fasteners & Vintage Wiring Supplies has a great selection of correct spark plug wire material in bulk rolls and correct terminations. I looked them up at Hershey this year and was very impressed with their offerings. http://www.rjlautofasteners.com/ John

I have never dealt with RJ&L but I have dealt with Roy Nacewicz and agree with kubes that you will get only the best from Roy.

How does one get in touch w/ Roy Nacewicz? Do his wires provide maximum performance?

Here is his website http://fordscript.com/ His plug wires are copper strands of the same gauge supplied originally with a color coded cloth cover over the rubber insulation. They will perform as well as any other set that you can buy and will look original.
