I have a 39 Ford Deluxe convertible? It has one-piece side windows and rumble seat. I don't know if its' a Cabriolet or a 2-door convertible because I don't know the difference. Would someone please enlighten me? Thanks,

abchurch, Your car is a Convertible Coupe. The name Cabriolet was not used in '39, but the car is the same. Ford made only two open cars that year, the Convertible Coupe and the Convertible Sedan. What would have been the third open car was given over to Mercury as a Convertible, with two seats and a trunk. Your car's body is designated as a 760A, or as in our club roster which is a composite code, as a 76A.

Alan, Thank you for the education. I hope to have the car finished in another 12-18 months. I'm hoping to have the top finished by spring and then start the priming and sanding. Bill
