I have 2 pair of Ford script pliers. One has a MH in a circle and the other one has a B in an oval. What year are these and the manufacture. Thanks

The Ford script on pliers were a thing of the past by the early 1930's even though many believe otherwise. The MH (mcKaig-Hatch)was a supplier to Ford. Not certain of the "B". While Ford did use up existing stock, it seems highly unlikely the script type would have been factory installed by the late 30's. Many of these did end up in tool kits by way of individual 'exchange' in subsequent years.

Santa According to the Model A Judging standards pliers with the Ford script as well as ones without the script might have been supplied throughout the Model A years. According to the the 41-48 book no script was usually used 41-46, only the forging company's stamp. Pliers were dropped from the tool kit in November 46. With Ford's desire to use up out of date parts, it wouldn't surprise me to find script pliers in some factory supplied tool kits at anytime from Model Ts to 46. Ted
