I will be replacing the quarter windows in my '38 Standard coupe, and am wondering if I will need anything other than new rubber seals. Is it necessary to use any sort of adhesive? Thanks! Tim

It is a good idea to use a windshield sealer around the rubber seals. Mask the paint around the outside of the seals, so that no sealer gets on the paint.

I agree with Tom. Use sealer between the glass and the gasket and between the gasket and the body.
