Good morning gentlemen, I am looking for a good condition factory original circa 1936 Stromberg Carb 97 for the 1936 V8. I am in need of one and curious if you are able to point me to a club dealer or someone whom may have a good spare for sale. Thanks Jon Ketron 1936 Ford V8 Standard Tudor Touring Sedan

Look to Max Musgrove for an original. It should have the small 97 embossed and in addition the number 67 on the center and top sections. Max is the Stromberg repair technician. He can supply rebuilt to your Spec. if he has the core. Also Charlie Schwindler in NY may have a core he can rebuild also.

I found a brand new one at Sacramento Vintage, in California (phone (916)853-2244). They have an 800 number but I don't have that number. Mine is working really really good.

Good Morning, Jon-- Sacramento Vintage Ford is also known as California Vintage Ford. It's the same company. Good firm. I've dealt with them for a long time. 1-888-Ford-100 1-888-367-3100 www.vintage-ford.com Good Luck. Tom
