Does anyone know there I can obtain one of those small ground straps, that go from the fire wall to the rear bolt on the intake manifold on my sedan????

Thank you so much! I looked in Mac's, beacause they have more than Carpenter, and couldn't find it, and hadn't had a chance to look in Carpenter's catologue; it says it's for convertible only- but what do they know! Guys on this site told me I need it for my turn signal problem; which I state in a previous thread, so I'm going to get one and install it! My other '50 sedan had one!! It couldn't hurt.

Steve, That strap was used on all 1949 Ford body styles. For 1950, it was only used on the convertible, so the reference in the Carpenter description is accurate. Not really sure why the change was made, but likely related to the power needed for the top pump. But as you say, it cannot hurt. Ken
