VIEWING MULTIPLE TOPICS ON SCREEN: You can choose to see more than 10 Topics at a time ... Log In and choose "Preferences" from the top bar on the Forum page. Scroll down and Change the "Default Topics Returned" parameter to 25 or 50, and save the changes. Since this setting is stored in your browser 'cookies' (if enabled), it seems to use that stored value even if you are not logged in. So, if you use a PC that you haven't logged into the forum from, the setting still seem to remain at the default.
EXTERNAL PHOTO LINKS ON FORUM: You can still use external photo links in your posts on the new forum. They follow the rules of any link in that they have to have the URL link qualified down to the full image file name (example: .jpg). The links will open in a new browser window, the same as an uploaded image attached to a post. Since an image attachment to any post does not display inline with the post, the results are the same. Using links from photo sites such as Photobucket can help in "size" issue with uploaded attachment files. For best viewing in web browsers, photos should be around the 800x600 pixel range, and probably not more than 1024x768. Most cameras today store HUGE jpg image files, as the default settings are in the 7, 8, 10, and 12Mb image sizes. The image files that are then attached are very large, and the browser can't display the full image size without using the scroll bars. Use the re-sizing functions of your photo editing software to reduce the image to 800x600, which reduces the file sixe and the image load time in the browser. Don uses Google's free Picassa3 software, which is an excellent photo management product. All of the photo albums of the Deuce, Grand National, and Auburn that are links on the NORG site were built using Picassa's web creation functions. And it's free? (THANKS to Don Clink for the info!)
HOW DO I SHOW MY EMAIL ADDRESS ALONG WITH MY USERNAME? You can LogIn on the Forum, and select PREFERENCES. On this page Members can add optional information such as their City,State, Country; Occupation; Hobbies: list a Homepage; list AOL Instant Messanger Handle; Signature; "Make Email Address viewable to others;" and even change the number of Default Topics shown on a page. WHEN others click on your profile, they will see this information.

On my 41 ford business coupe what parts do I need to connect my fenders to body such as welting and rubber grommets ?

For your inner fender panels to the fenders and to the frame get some friction tape. This is what i use to go between where two pieces attach, but do not show on the exterior of the vehicle. It is available at sporting goods stores that sell hockey equipment (used to tape hockey sticks). Get the widest you can find.
Also purchase a good hollow point punch set for making holes for the attaching bolts.

Otherwise there is some good fender welting available from most restoration suppliers.

The welt is a cord wrapped with a fabric cloth that is painted like an old fabric covered airplane. It is very vulnerable to high speed sheepskin buffing wheels. I used Volkswagen Beetle on 1948 sedan coupe but partly because it was black. The VW welt is tough but I doubt it paints well if you want it to match your fenders. In my experience the fenders don't mount anywhere to the frame. They mount to the body at the cowl and at some inner gravel shields just behind the wheels and to a yoke that mounts to the frame in front of the radiator. Now that I have said those things. Any grommets would be where the headlight and parking light wires went through the inner fender aprons. Now I will look first in the Service Bulletins and then in the parts manual. My computer does not actually have a CD or DVD drive but I have an external Blu-Ray drive. From Dave Graham's Ford 13 Volume set 1928 thru 1948 Chassis Parts and Accessories Catalogue. Open with Adobe Acrobat Standard DC as the file is a PDF. It needed to be prepared for reading on this machine. We have a problem! The fenders are not parts in the Body group. Welt appears around the windshield and package shelf in the body. So we use the public Internet. https://www.bobdrake.com/fenderwelting In 25 foot lengths in colors for you to choose from samples. It's vinyl like the VW 1950's stuff. Good news! According to our club's book "1941-48 Ford Book on page 2-9 under Anti-Squeak "Welting" all models. The 1941 models only used black welt. The later cars used body colors. pyroxylin cloth covered 3/16 diameter welt is how it is described. In a humorous vein- jute cord wrapped with aircraft fabric and painted black for 1941. What will the judges say? The Ford Times USB stick the Club puts out has "1941 Fender welting" 94- Mar/Apr -66, 82 -Jul/Aug-59; also just "Welting" 81-JUL/AUG-50; then "Front Fender Welting and Hardware" 88-MAY/JUN-45; "1941 Fenders and Welting" 07-NOV/DEC -91 My best effort.

I did my car while Roy Nacewicz was still alive and bought the correct welting, that goes between the fender and the body, from him. I don't know if Third Generation has the same welting, but it does look correct in the photos. I don't like the vinyl covered welt looks.

If you have the 2 or 3 piece fender you will need the friction tape between those connections.

The only rubber parts that I can think of for the 41 fenders is the bumper bracket rubber.
