HELP in IDENTIFYING a PART

Would like a little help if you know what this is, It came to me at a auction, that the person collected early FORD and bite my tongue,!! CHEVROLET'S I can not find any part number, or any marking, MANY THANKS 1937 RAGTOPMAN

It's a bellhousing starter plate for a 49 to 53 Ford.

I believe it is a '52 '53 starter plate. IIt is not a '49='51 plate

many THANKS for all your HELP in finding out what this part fits, I found this in my 1949 1959 genuine FORD PARTS CATALOG, PART # 7992 it fits 1951 1952 1953 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AUTOS, pos trucks,? THANKS AGAIN, regards 37 RAGTOPMAN

hi this is the one for one for sure, later automatic's used a different parts, I looked up the 54 and later parts and they are different, so this is the right one, it's great to have the books to find out the parts, great research material , I just need to know it was a FORD part, I am going to sell it , just in case somebody needs one, regards 37 RAGTOPMAN
