My 1950 Ford is on the 6 volt system and I'm not planning on changing over to 12 volt. I found a 6 volt, refurbished Ford radio for the car. Circuit test shows that the power line for a radio carries 6 volts when the key switch is turned on. The problem I have is that the rear bracket for a radio is missing. I see the place where the bracket probably was. Does anyone know where I mind a bracket?

Google a company called "shoebox central". They should have the bracket. You can also post a want ad on this site and on the Fordbarn.

The rear bracket is very simple. Easy to make, if you can't find an original. See diagram attached.
