Rainmaker Ron Cloat has passed away of all places at a 4 Banger club meeting. The best and hottest Chili in the country. RIP Ron. ken Isidor V8 member.

I assume nobody on this Ford site knew Rainmaker Ron. You missed knowing a great man. !!!! ken ct. His Hershey Chili was out of this world.

I Knew Ron very well, Ken. I met him many years ago when I was doing Model A's. He was a fixture at most of the shows out here in the midwest. His shop at Peoria was hard to find, but a treasure of parts and knowledge.

Thank you Supereal, your the only one to do a post on here. What goes around ,comes around when they pass on,hope they are remembered likewise. Got 4" of SNOW today. Glad I hibernated the 36 yesterday for the winter (big storage facility) got to be 75 classic cars in there and very reasonable too. Have a merry Xmas and a fruitful NY. ken ct

Thanks, Ken. Now that I am in my 80's, the loss of friends, particularly Ford friends, is a personally touching event.

Moved and gave up on the rebuilding ,still selling small parts I can store in the house and small work shed. Just put away the 36 for the winter Fri. Got 5" snow Sat.
