I just bought a 1950 ford custom 6 cylinder. Can not fine any power steering for this car. Can anyone help?

No 50 ford had PS. ken ct. Think PS came out in 53 I believe ??

extreme-customs-so-cal wilomar, ca. That,s all I know.I found them on ebay under 49,50 and 51 Ford parts.They have a power steering unit for $800.00, but you still have to mount a pump.

For that kind of money i would look at electric steering and switch to 12 volts

Provided you can find a late '53 Ford with power steering, you might be able to purchase the entire system from the vehicle and modify it to work on your car.
