No 1 is wet and seems not to be firing. I have pretty good spark so I'm assuming it's in the cap or wire??? I'll check continuity in wire, what is best way to check cap ? It's nice and clean where wire plugs I now hold. Should I reverse 1& 2 and see if it fires ? Is there another way to test cap? Appreciate any ideas.

if you have good spark at the plug wire, I would think the cap and wire to be good, I would first try to clean plug, make sure there is no carbon bridging the gap, insure gap is within spec, maybe switch plug with #2 cyl. also check compression.
