Looking for floor mat material for 1940/41 panel truck. This is the piece that goes behind and under the seats. Anybody have leads on this or a good used one? thanks

You might consider the floor mats made for station wagons. there are two used, one for the center, behind the front seat, and another for the rear deck. I don't have the dimensions, but C&G (800/266-0470) may be able to help. Those mats are shown in their catalog.

The problem with "wagon mats" is that the floor of a station wagon of this vintage has a step in it, just ahead of the middle seat. The panels and sedan deliveries had a flat floor.

I beleive the rubber mat stopped just behind the front seat and there was a wooden floor like a pick-up that went the rest of the way to the back doors. Is yours a 1/2 ton or larger truck ? You should go to one of the big box home stores and look at the "hall runner" mats, may be you can come up with something that will be usable

Hi Allen, I think we have crossed paths on the Barn. I have seen the mat I described on 2 40/41 panels and there were remnants of mine under the seats. The cab of the panel is all steel. Mark
