Hello, all! I have been told that pickup boxes (not rear fenders)for 1-ton Fords were the same for years 1944-1950. I am looking for a Tailgate for a 47 TONNER and it would be helpful to know if the boxes (and tailgates) were the same from 44-50. Any help with this or if you know someone who might know I would appreciate hearing from them! Thank you! Rick

Check with Northern Classic Trucks in Minnesota. They make pickup boxes and probably would be able to answer your question.

Northern Classic (as well as Mack Hils in Missouri) only produce 1/2 ton pickup boxes, not Tonners. Tonner tailgates are bigger. I cannot find and am not aware of anyone that is manufaturing Tonner boxes, tailgates, etc. so I expect my only source will be something off EBay or the like. Thank you for the reply, if anyone knows of a tailgate for a 1942-1950 1-TON pickup box, I am interested! Happy Holidays! Rick
