Anyone know where I can get the mounting bolts for a 1947 Merc convertible top frame? Some of mine are stripped.

Here is a drawing of the top irons, which bolts do you need?

355592-S. Towards bottom. Secures 2-3 inch link to car.

That is a special 3/8 -24 x 1.09" shoulder bolt. You can try Third Gen Automotive (844) 327-5988 or see if local top shops have a source for the bolt.

Try Midwest Early Ford in Springfield, OH....I got the top bolts for my convertible there....they carried a whole kit of the eccentrics made in polished stainless. I can't recall if they were just the eccentric and the larger shoulder bolts or not...but they could tell you. Ask for Brian he is very helpful.
