I just purchased a 1950 4 door ford customn. The patent plate reads B0DA 177502. This is also the serial number. IO am ubnable to decode this serial. Can anyone help? Carioca

What you need is the 1949-1951 Ford Book that the club publishes. It is available from the online store. It will be a great asset to owning your Ford. But, I will give it a shot .,............ B = V-8 0 = 1950 DA = Dallas assembly 177502 is the sequence number for production (it started at 100001, so your vehicle is the 77501 one produced. Hope this helps. You should also have a cowl code that will give you the body code, color code, Upholstery code.
