the person who pulls should not pull too hard or the spring and two end pins can go flying.

Both pins in at the same time, then pull the lever out. They can stick in position.

I need to know how to remove the 2 pins and spring in the shift lever to replace the grommet. I have tried to push both pins in at the same time as well as pushing the pins on through the grommet. Thanks
