John, I was looking at ads in a car magazine I get. There is a company called Hydro-E-Lectric 800-343-4261 hydroe.com They may be able to help. Just a shot.

John, to get the proper height of rear bow, find the center of bow and car body. Measure over 17.5 inches from center on both sides and the proper height at these too points should be 18-5/16 from bottom of bow to top of tack strip. Hope this helps.

What I need is the measurement of the bow (rear) to the floor.

If you are talking about the canvass top and pads, I suggest that you have it done professionally, unless you have some expertise in this area. Otherwise,it is not an easy job. I speak from experience.

The only thing I've seen in the commonly available Ford Service manual is a diagram of the hydraulic system.
