McMaster-Carr sells miniature non scratch wire brushes from .014 and greater that are 3" long. Perhaps that would work. I use them on carb ports and jets.

Mine was clogged as yours apparently is. I tried the soaking method to no avail. I ended up using carburetor cleaner and a very tiny wire as a "snake" to go through the tube. Took a lot of patience. Only a very small amount of wire "travel" at a time. It worked well, but again, be patient.

I tried to clean the gas gauge on my 34 ford. I cleaned the glass tube well but I cant blow through the gas gauge. I want to pour MEK in. Can anyone help. Ron
