This is normal - Houdaille's were designed as '1-way' shocks. The 'bump' stroke should exhibit much easier and lighter resistance than the 'rebound' stroke which should be quite stiff. Steve

Hi, My '40 Houdaille shocks have much more resistance in one direction than the other, can anyone tell me if this is normal? Thanks, Steve
