Skip Haney's rewound coils are definitely the way to go. I wouldn't leave home without one on my car's distributor and another in my spare parts box. I may never need that spare unless I forget and leave the ignition switch on which can cause them to overheat and fail.

Well, I got my car going and the fuel issues seem to be resolved--two weeks too late for the meet. One of those "hard luck" stories Ken Bounds was talking about. Not as bad as the guy whose car conked out 100 miles away from Springfield, but hard luck just the same. John, I'll be putting the correct 78-9600 Air Cleaner that you sold me on top of my "new" 97 carb. . . . 78-73B

TomO, Thanks again for your great contribution to the success of the meet, and the great time I had attending. The photos are priceless. At the awards banquet I look totally clueless! This was one of the most impressive cars at the meet! I think I know who owns it. -VT/JeffH

And one of my great buddy JM! We were both lucky enough to win one of the few 'free night at the hotel' scratch-off prizes then went and won a $100 bill! The scratch-off was another of the very innovative ideas we learned at the meet. -VT/JeffH

Jeff, I had a great time at the meet, taking the photos was a great opportunity to meet most of the owners and their cars. I had a lot of fun going around and taking the snapshots of people enjoying themselves. I made a lot of new friends at the meet. My partner in taking photos, Jeff Trilling took most of the car photos and I took most of the snapshots. Jeff put together the slide show for the Awards and did a great job. Thanks for the compliment on my Lincoln, but most of the credit goes to the previous owners who kept it in such great shape.
