Did you ever solve your problem? I’m having the same problem on our 35 couple

thanks John, I will take more pictures of the 35 but it will be at a later date, I need to put another motor and trans in it thanks for your help ... ken

Ken, can't tell much from your pictures other than confirming that you do have too much gap. Also, most of the pictures seem to be the exact same shot. Maybe back away some with the camera, give it time to focus, and take some pictures of the complete hood showing where it meets the cowl and the grille. Also as Don asked a picture of how the grille is bolted in at front of fenders. Some pictures with the hood sides propped up on top of cowl so we can see how the radiator is mounted and also how the hood fastens to the top of the cowl. John

Ken, How does the grille fit at the bottom with the fenders. Could you take some photos of the grille from top to bottom both with the hood closed and open? Don

not much I can just about put the fan on when the radiator is installed... but that's not the problem it needs to come down on the fender, thanks anyway... ken

This may sound flaky but, how much room do you have between the fan with a blade in the 12 o'clock position and the radiator? Tom

Hi Tom.... as you can see in the picture the hood is up about 1-inch from the fenders carcruisin@msn.com
