According to page A-5 of the 41-48 Ford book the appropriate antenna for your car would mount on the passenger side cowl and although the picture in the book shows the installed antenna,it probably uses the two holes you have in your cowl.

My 47 Ford woodie station wagon that I'm restoring has what looks to be two factory original holes for mounting the radio antenna on the passenger side of the cowl. These holes are midway up the cowl and roughly 1" apart (see photo). Does anyone know if this is the correct original mounting location for the antenna on this vehicle? If so, any thoughts on where to find the correct replacement antenna to mount here? I want to ensure I am restoring the car correctly (concourse quality). Thank you!!
