Thanks for the help. It appears I will be able to find what I need at shoebox-central.com. What I am referring to are the courtesy lights for a convertible. I have two different brackets that will accomodate a slide switch and a lens that measures 1 1/4 inches in diameter. Also not sure where the brackets were originally located under the dash. Thanks for your help.

Go to the shoebox-central.com web site. Everything you need to know is there. Call the 800 number and Chris the owner will answer your questions.

That information is usually found in the owner's manual. The 51 Ford is being reprinted and is available from most vendors. Here is a link to Bob Drake's site. http://www.bobdrake.com/ItemForm.aspx?Item=DG-167&ReturnURL=/Categories2.aspx?Id=872d0407-bc0f-404d-bde0-2b57bf9a0c1b&Category=872d0407-bc0f-404d-bde0-2b57bf9a0c1b

I am restoring a 1951 Ford Convertible but can't find any information on interior lighting. Does anyone have any diagrams, photos and/or stock parts available? Also where are the interior lights located? Unfortunately, my car did not have anything when I got it.
