VIEWING MULTIPLE TOPICS ON SCREEN: You can choose to see more than 10 Topics at a time ... Log In and choose "Preferences" from the top bar on the Forum page. Scroll down and Change the "Default Topics Returned" parameter to 25 or 50, and save the changes. Since this setting is stored in your browser 'cookies' (if enabled), it seems to use that stored value even if you are not logged in. So, if you use a PC that you haven't logged into the forum from, the setting still seem to remain at the default.
EXTERNAL PHOTO LINKS ON FORUM: You can still use external photo links in your posts on the new forum. They follow the rules of any link in that they have to have the URL link qualified down to the full image file name (example: .jpg). The links will open in a new browser window, the same as an uploaded image attached to a post. Since an image attachment to any post does not display inline with the post, the results are the same. You can use multiple external links within a post. This link is from photos on a site from Don Clink's 'Deuce@75' albums:

Using links from photo sites such as Photobucket can help in "size" issue with uploaded attachment files. For best viewing in web browsers, photos should be around the 800x600 pixel range, and probably not more than 1024x768. Most cameras today store HUGE jpg image files, as the default settings are in the 7, 8, 10, and 12Mb image sizes. The image files that are then attached are very large, and the browser can't display the full image size without using the scroll bars. Use the re-sizing functions of your photo editing software to reduce the image to 800x600, which reduces the file sixe and the image load time in the browser. Don uses Google's free Picassa3 software, which is an excellent photo management product. All of the photo albums of the Deuce, Grand National, and Auburn that are links on the NORG site were built using Picassa's web creation functions. And it's free? (THANKS to Don Clink for the info!)
HOW DO I SHOW MY EMAIL ADDRESS ALONG WITH MY USERNAME? You can LogIn on the Forum, and select PREFERENCES. On this page Members can add optional information such as their City,State, Country; Occupation; Hobbies: list a Homepage; list AOL Instant Messanger Handle; Signature; "Make Email Address viewable to others;" and even change the number of Default Topics shown on a page. WHEN others click on your profile, they will see this information.

My 1939 Deluxe Tudor has the original steel bowl fuel pump. I cannot find rebuild kits or the internal screens for this pump. Is the 59A-9350-A glass bowl pump a direct replacement? Are all the interfaces (i.e. the bolting, gasket, push rod, inlet fuel hose, outlet fuel tube) the same?

Yes it should bolt on and work. Be aware that the gasket where the glass bowl seats must seal or the pump will suck air instead of fuel from the tank. The hose connection thread should be the same, the steel line to the carb uses the same Ford Nuts and compression sleeves.
I am surprised you cannot find a kit for your original style pump. Hang on to it in case you want to ever show the vehicle.

Contact Ken Isidor in Ct. He posts on Fordbarn as Ken ct. I am sure he can supply you with any parts you need for that steel bowl/top fuel pump.
I am running a '48 glass bowl FP on my '35 sedan with stock 21 stud engine. Everything fits fine, but I believe it is more likely to have vapor lock problems compared to the original steel bowl/top FP because the glass bowl sits so close to the intake manifold allowing the ethanol gas to get hot enough to boil. I could see this happening during several vapor lock incidents when the engine temps got up to ~200°F. To resolve this I am thinking about raising the pump and stand 1" using some type of insulator material and possibly going back to a steel bowl/top FP.

You can obtain an original type pump, 11A-9350, from C&G, 800/266-0470, $62. A good many 34-48 vehicles have the glass bowl because the 59A was more generally available. It is actually for the 46-48's. I've never noticed problems with either type bowl due to engine heat as long as the pump was in good condition, and the line was clear.

I have the parts you need,no kits but have most of the parts you need.Would need a pic of the screen. Afew diff ones were used in them. 39 uses an off set hole pump is that what you have. The 41 to 46 pump is very similar but the inlet an outlet are more or less straight across from each other ei at the same level and the top cover is slightly diff. ken ct. 1-203-260-5945 cell

Picture of 36-40 fuel pump. The current replacement pumps are more like the 41-46 fuel pumps. The in and out are at the same level and the cover has small tabs that project downward.
