Thank you for the lead to Fred at Southside Obsolete. He does have them on his website, and I left him a phone message. My clips are not riveted. They are secured by a bent tang at each end. There is a notch at one end of the clips, and it appears that they should slide away from the notch and lift out. Has anyone done this? Thanks. Larry Keough.

Nobody makes that clip to my knowledge. I believe it is riveted on, so you could drill out the rivets and re-rivet back in place later.

I am in the process of rebuilding my '36 passenger headlight buckets. Does any supplier make a replacement spring clip for the fender mounting bolt pivot? Also, are there any special precautions for removal/installation of the clip? My clips are intact, but I would like to remove them to thoroughly clean the pivot and mounting bolt. Thanks for any "light" you can shed.
