I have a 39 standard and there is about a 3" hole in the center of the firewall.I think it is for the exhaust type heater. Do they make a plug for this hole? The hole is above the oil breather. IF IT CAN NOT BE FIXED WITH BLASTING WIRE, DUCT TAPE OR JB WELD - IT CAN NOT BE FIXED

Yes the hole is for the Hot air heater, no the aftermarket suppliers do not have a plug, you will have to make one and tack it in a couple of places.

You might find something at a plumbing supply store that would work temporarily.

Did Ford make a plug originally for the hole? IF IT CAN NOT BE FIXED WITH BLASTING WIRE, DUCT TAPE OR JB WELD - IT CAN NOT BE FIXED

Sturgis 39: It was just a "knock-out" portion of the firewall, so that the dealer wouldn't have to use a big hole saw. Similar to the knock-outs on electrical junction boxes, except flush with the surrounding surface.
