'48 & '52 truck oil pan difference?

The '48 - '52 8RTs are all the same with the clean-out. The '53 has no clean-out.

That's what I thought but wasn't sure when someone told me they used a "2 piece" '48 truck pan; perhaps he was referring to the clean out plate on the bottom of the pan. Thanks for responding. Bob

The oil pans in the 48-52 pickup should be the same. Passenger car pans for the 8BA are definitely different than the pickups.

Is there a difference in the exterior shape between the '48 & '52 oil truck pan? I ask because am putting 8BA in '36 chassis and am concerned about tie rod/drag link clearance.
