need heads for 59 that have water outlets for the heater as well as the temp gauge..what year heads will work and have the dual outlets for the heater

Your heads will work just fine. It's an easy conversion that could have been done at the dealership when your car was new. The valve you need can be found at C&G, and the boss on your head is just waiting to be drilled and tapped to recieve it.you don't even have to pull the head to do the deed.

If you have a 59A block, the 59A or 59A-B heads will work. If you want to keep the 40 heads, have them flycut to provide clearance for the valves and move the sending unit to the left head. One of the heater hose connections is to the right head and the other is to the right lower hose. The 40 Ford came with only 1 sending unit, the one with 1 terminal.
