The best source for help with the hydraulic brake conversion is Richard Lacy at earlyv8@aol.com, (626) 338-2282. I am certain the answer is yes but I know there are a few tricks with the '36. He makes an adapter that allows you to use your original brake pedal and I believe he is a dealer for most of the rest of the needed parts that are manufactured by someeone else. Charlie Stephens

first problem is the wide five wheels/drums that you have on your car. I have converted several 35 Fords and lots of 40-48 to self energizing. I know that on the 35 you have to have some spacer rings to make them usable with the wire wheels

Hey guys I have a couple of questions. #1 iS IT POSSIBLE TO INSTALL SELF'ENERGING BRAKES ON A 36 FORD? #2 iF SO, WHAT IS MY FIRST STEP, iF NOT, WHAT IS THE NEXT ALTERNATIVE?
