I have some assembly drawings of the top parts but it is about a tenth generation photocopy and very faint. I also have a drawing of the rivet dimensions. but it too is very faint and probably would not reproduce well enough to use. Are you going to Auburn meet? If so let me know and I will bring the drawings for you to look at. I belong to the RG36 and could also bring them to any of the club meetings - see their website for directions and details. Henry here is a link to their website http://www.ncr36.com

Here's a very poor photo that I pieced together a while back. It might help with the arrangement of the irons.

I have two drawings prepared by F.J. O'Brien in 1968 that show the 35/36 phaeton top iron assembly detail. These might be the same ones Henry has. One copy is poor quality, but the other is quite legible and shows in great detail the order of assembly and dimensions of washers, rivets etc. Send me your address and I'll mail copies to you. Jim Wilson

Jim, Could I get a copy of those drawings? As 36 Advisor and 35-36 Ford Book Co-Author, I often get asked questions regarding top irons. Don Rogers 422 Gunnison Gorge Dr. Ballwin, MO. 63011

Jim, I am glad to see you here. I believe you are the person who sent me copies of the top iron drawings mentioned. I got the drawings and then stupidly lost track of your return address. I was frustrated with myself I couldn't properly thank you. So I want to send you belated thanks for sending the drawings, it was very kind of you and I'm apologetic about not properly thanking you till now. Best Henry
