'47 axles are longer than '40. Thus, you can't use the '40 axles. I may have NOS axles for your car but need to know how many teeth on the gears. Let me know if you are interested.

I have a 1947 Ford coupe, with a broken rear axel. A gentelman has a pair of a of rear axels from a 1940 Ford. Will these work in my 1947 or where might I get the correct ones. Thanks Ernie Gendron - Nashville Tn.
