Tom is correct as always. I prefer Drake mounts.

I would pull the engine to replace the clutch. That way you have access to the fly wheel if you need to resurface it. I like to remove the hood and radiator, remove the front seat (to keep it clean) and floor boards, unbolt the engine steady rods, unbolt the trans from the engine, remove the starter, unbolt the exhaust pipes, remove the intake manifold and ground straps. I would look at your motor mounts again. Clutch chatter is rarely the result of a worn clutch. All motor mounts sold are not the same quality as the original ones. If you have the hardware for you old mounts, use it with new cushions and try out the car. Here is a link to a long discussion on motor mounts https://www.earlyfordv8.org/forum/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=18&Topic=10545&keywords=Clutch%20chatter

@carcrazy. Thank-you for your reply! I will take another look, just in case there is something we missed. I would hate to do all of this work only to find out the chatter was caused by something that is loose.

One thing that contributes to "clutch chatter" is loose, worn out, rear shock absorber links. Especially if the chatter is more extreme when backing up the car, check that the links are free of excessive play.

You can pull the engine with the radiator, grille, etc. in place. Place a 1/4" piece of plywood in front of radiator in case you get crazy
