hi here is the SNAP=ON A 78 PILOT BEARING PULLER. with 2 sets of jaws hope this helps 37Ragtopman, Maine

You can use A slice of bread soaked in water instead of grease if the mess of the grease bothers you to any thing to build hydraulic pressure should come right out.

Once you fill the cavity behind the pilot bearing with grease, you can insert and old sawed off broom handle or rod of the correct diameter into the hole in the bearing and whack it with a hammer. The pressure on the backside of the pilot bearing will force it out.

Another way is to pump grease into the bearing, it will (should) push it out. Paul in CT

V8JR Use a pilot bearing puller to remove it, tap the new one in using a driver on the outside of the bearing till it seats, hope this helps, 37Ragtopman

What is the procedure or process to replace the transmission pilot bearing in the flywheel. Thanks for any help.
