What is the procedure or process to replace the transmission pilot bearing in the flywheel.
Thanks for any help.

  V8JR

Use a pilot bearing puller to remove it,
tap the new one in using a driver on the outside of the bearing till it seats,
hope this helps, 37Ragtopman

Another way is to pump grease into the bearing, it will (should) push it out.

Once you fill the cavity behind the pilot bearing with grease, you can insert and old sawed off broom handle or rod of the correct diameter into the hole in the bearing and whack it with a hammer. The pressure on the backside of the pilot bearing will force it out.

You can use A slice of bread soaked in water instead of grease if the mess of the grease bothers you to any thing to build hydraulic pressure should come right out.
