My wooden floor boards appear the same as pictured in Carpenter's catalog. Is there trick to getting the clutch and brake pedals through the holes without destroying the kick panel or scratching the steering column ?

Unscrew the brake and clutch pedals and the shafts should fit through.

BW, It'll take a tad bit of maneuvering to get the pedals through but it can be done - it has been done a zillion times. I haven't restored a '39 in a while but if my memory serves me well, you must push one of the pedals down about half way while the board is placed over at an angle. Is it a photographic illusion or are your boards cut straight along the bottom edge? Mike "Kube" Kubarth

The picture is showing the underneath side of the floor board. You are turning it over when attempting to install it, correct?
