Joe, They are attached beneath the lip of the dash. The rubber part goes toward the front of the car. The screw goes in from the bottom - up in to the glove box area. The acorn nut goes atop the hinge. You'll note the slot in the bumper … when you install them (bumpers) you may have to adjust their location fore / aft so the lip of the lid comes in to direct contact with the rubber part.

Hi I am trying to find out where the glove box stopper location is. There were no stops ( flat steel with rubber on one end ) on the dash when I bought the car, I purchased a set but don't know where they go. I can't find any good pictures of where they should be located, from what I've seen it looks they mount on the door hinge . If that's correct do they mount on the inside or under the dash. If anyone has a picture or can tell my how they should be mounted it would be a great help. Thanks Joe
