Kubes40 you were right, it is very slightly different, I guess I make a mistake , not unless you compare them side by side they look the same, so it was a honest mistake, the mounting holes look the same, but the way to turn it on is different,and the 1940 is just slightly bigger, I guess more powerful ? Here is a NOS FORD # 78-17508-B Wiper motor, this is for just in case I NEED IT, for my CABRIOLET 78-760-A check it out, photos enclosed, maybe now he can find one, hope this helps 37RAGTOPMAN

37 man, That might fit but it is 1940 only -not the same as earlier motors.

if you need to know what the vacuum wiper motor looks like here are some photos this fits all OPEN CARS only including station wagons, 1937 to 1940 hope this helps 1937RAGTOPMAN
