Kubes40 you were right, it is very slightly different, I guess I make a mistake , not unless you compare them side by side they look the same, so it was a honest mistake, the mounting holes look the same, but the way to turn it on is different,and the 1940 is just slightly bigger, I guess more powerful ? Here is a NOS FORD # 78-17508-B Wiper motor, this is for just in case I NEED IT, for my CABRIOLET 78-760-A check it out, photos enclosed, maybe now he can find one, hope this helps 37RAGTOPMAN
