Has anyone bought a battery from either of these companies? One of them looks like it is located in an abandoned industrial building (google maps street view) and the other doesn't give a physical address, only a mailing address.

I've been buying them at Tractor Supply for $79,00 since the price went so high on Optima batteries. 1934 Ford's since 1972

1934 Ford - More info please on the batteries you buy from Tractor Supply. Are they Group 2LF batteries? Are they 'wet cell'? I have not been able to find the Group 2LF batteries which fit correctly/properly under the floor of my '34. The Group 2HF batteries currently available are too tall to fit properly in a stock '34....

NAPA lists a 6V Battery Part #7244 as an exact fit for a 1947 Ford Pickup. Your local NAPA store may have one in stock or can have it for you in a day or so after you order it. I bought one back in June and the out-the-door price with an old battery core refund was slightly less than $100.

Deka makes one. I put it in my 1940 Ford car recently; good battery, $89.00-decent warranty too.

I had a NAPA battery and lasted not quite 2 yrs. Switched to Interstate and the one I have now is over 5 yrs. and started right up this year after sitting all winter.

Antique Battery Co. is now Jim's Battery Mfg. Co. It has been bought out by new owners. Phone #800 426-7580. I just ordered a battery for my 52 Ford. I ordered an Optima battery in a Ford script case. It is expensive but I got good life out of my last one. I would probably still be using it but my voltage regulator was set to high and caused it to fail due to over charging. My car is a Dearborn car and I want to keep it original.
