The wheel has to be lifted from the bottom.there is a speceil tool made for this job . you will have to use the horn button that comes whith the wheel.they are diff Diamitors.Bill

The car is early 36 so it has the standard steering wheel, not the banjo...will a 39 banjo work? I noticed the 36 wheel does not promote a puller type removal approach. Is there a trick? Thanks!
