Dan sells the bearing kit on eBay - he says it will fit 40-48 with minor modifications. Search for "Ford Steering Column Bearing Kit" Ken

Is there a comparable replacement setup for 41 and later?

Frank, I've sent you a PM. If you can get your hands on the May/June 2010 V-8 Times, there is an article on page 17 about my bearing installation process. Ken

I can't comment on the Dan Brusegard bearing , but I have used the retrofit Ford bearing and sleeve kit with good success. I think it comes down to personal choice and how much you want to spend.

X2 for Dan Brusgard's bearing. Did mine 20 yrs ago and still good. Very easy to install, you will be a happy camper. Other one looks like it rides in a nylon core. ken ct.
