You can use the tach on the 32-41 distributors by connecting the wire that is shown going to the distributor side of the coil to the mounting tab for the condenser. The 42-48 distributors would use the wiring diagram as it is shown. I don't know why they would show the ignition switch between the coil and distributor.

John- Thanks for the picture. Looking at the diagram gives the impression that this tach won't work with a '32-'48 distributor. Are there any modifications that must be made to your '35 distributor internally to facilitate the hook-up? Thanks Tom

Here you go Tom. I took this pic earlier today to post on another forum discussion where someone else was curious about how this connected. I hope this is readable.

My Westach (2CT54-6V, pos or neg grd, 0-5000 rpm, 2" dia.) tachometer arrived yesterday. Can't wait to install this in my 35 fordor to check engine rpms at various speeds in different gears. John

Digital tachs are harder to read because the engine speed can vary and the tach numbers will be moving fast to track the speed. If the numbers don't move, the tach is using an averaging circuit to display the numbers.

Nope..., no digital that I could find on their site. You would think their site would have the ability to indicate whether or not an item is in stock!
