The 33 front and rear bumpers have the same part number (40- 17757-B) while the 34 front and rear bumpers have the same part number (68-17757) in the Green Bible. The spacing between the right or left bracket is 18 1/4 inches (diagonally) for the 33 and 17 inches for the 34.

Did you try your front bumper on the rear braces? If it fits then the rear bumper is incorrect and your braces are correct.

My front and rear bumpers don't match. The center holes seem correct for a '34 measuring 26" center to center. The problem is the measurement from the center hole to the end of the bumper, around the end and to the end's hole's center. My front bumper measures 21" and my rear bumper measures 23 1/2". I think my rear bumper braces are correct. I compared the to a friend's '34 Ford Coupe rear braces. When I removed the bumper bolts from the braces, both bolts and the braces were very stressed. The braces lack 1 3/4" of lining up to the bumper's hole. Can anyone help? Could I have a Vicky rear bumper? My '34 also has a rear mounted spare tire, but I don't know if its bracket is original. Hope you can help. Thank you
