Can I put stop leak in my rear shocks that have leaked for ever?

I assume you mean trans. stop leak or something similar. I doubt that this would be a permenant cure. Have them rebuilt.

I highly doubt it would even be a very temporary cure.

A better question might be "would it hurt to try it"? I think the answer to that question is no but I don't claim to be an expert (ask a rebuilder)? If it doesn't work you can always have them rebuilt. Charlie Stephens

I have never been a fan of temporary fixes. I wouldn't want to take a chance at gumming up a good set of shocks. Plus, I think the pressure might be too great. I would give Bill Wzorek a shout, www.wpwz@comcast and ask him. He is the shock rebuilder that advertises in the V-8 Times.

Bill is ill and has trained Andy Falandez and sold his shock repair business to him. He rebuilt mine and they work great! andys.shoxs@gmail.com>
