I know that these fronts and rears are different. Roy sells quality and correct hardware.

Did you know that the nuts on the backing plates were NOT all the same? Just because your car sat since '68 means little. The car was already 20+ years old, worth nothing in '68 and as such much could have and probably was done to it. The nuts Roy supplies for the backing plates are correct.

Very confident. The car has been parked since 1968 and it is very original.

First I've ever heard of Roy supplying an incorrect part! Wow! How confident are you that your 'originals' are 'originals' and that those Roy supplied are not actually/technically correct?

Thanks everyone! I ordered the backing plate nuts from Roy and they are shorter than the originals. Sent them back but haven't received credit for them yet.

Dovetailing and agreeing with kubes40 - Roy Nacewicz: http://www.fordscript.com/ (734) 654-9450 Invest the time to pursue ALL you need in the appropriate on-line catalog before you call him. 'Very strongly preferred' $25 minimum order size so have that in mind before you call to place your order.
